Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 July 2026 · www.woiced.com

These Terms govern your use of the Woiced website and WhatsApp service ("Woiced", "the platform"). By using Woiced you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Preview notice. Woiced is currently a preview build. Some features described here — voting, WhatsApp verification and donations — are not yet active.

1. What Woiced is

Woiced is a free, neutral public-opinion ledger. Citizens can express their opinion on live governance and policy questions by voting Yes, Maybe or No. Woiced records what the public wants and tracks whether and how the government responds, keeping that record permanently visible.

2. What Woiced is NOT

3. Freedom of opinion

Woiced records public opinion on questions of governance regardless of their legal or political status. Questions are framed neutrally so that a supporter can answer "Yes" and an opponent "No" without either feeling the question was written by the other side. Casting a vote is an expression of opinion, not a statement of fact.

4. Who can use it

Anyone in the world may view all public data. Only holders of a WhatsApp-verified Indian mobile number, aged 18 or over, may vote. You agree that the number you verify belongs to you and that you will not attempt to vote more than once per topic or on behalf of anyone else.

5. Verification & one vote per person

Voting requires one-time verification via WhatsApp. Each verified number may cast one vote per topic; this is enforced technically. Attempting to circumvent verification, create multiple identities, or manipulate counts is prohibited and may result in removal.

6. Submitting questions

You may submit questions for consideration. Submissions enter a moderation queue and are not published until reviewed and approved for neutral framing. We may edit for neutrality, decline, or remove questions at our discretion. Questions must use role titles (e.g. "Education Minister") rather than named individuals.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Woiced to: break any law; harass, defame or threaten any person; impersonate others; upload malicious code; scrape or overload the service; or interfere with voting integrity.

8. Donations

Woiced is free to use and funded by voluntary donations. Donations are made via an India-based UPI payment gateway and, for the current phase, are accepted only from India-originating payments. Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable. No donor receives any influence over content, questions, framing or results. We publish an aggregate "funds this month" figure for transparency.

9. Neutrality & no endorsement

Woiced does not endorse any political party, candidate, or position. Status updates on topics are factual and sourced, not editorial. Aggregate results represent the opinions of participating users only and are not representative of the entire population.

10. Intellectual property

The Woiced name, design and original content are owned by Woiced. You may share and embed public topic pages and their counts for non-commercial, informational purposes with attribution.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Woiced is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Woiced is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, or for the accuracy, completeness or interpretation of aggregate opinion data.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts of India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
